Introduction to Psychology - Ayşe Altan Atalay
The purpose of this course is to provide you with a perspective on how psychology approaches scientific questions concerning human behavior, cognition, and emotions. In order to achieve this perspective, we will focus on problems in many different types of human relationships. We will address those problems using the teachings of social, developmental, cognitive, abnormal, and clinical psychology.
The overarching learning goal of this course is to develop a habit in addressing all problems and questions in psychology with a broad perspective, simultaneously considering biological, individual, interpersonal, environmental, social, and cultural processes.
