Application Process
All high school students who are in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade courses and meet the language proficiency requirements (CEFR B2 and above) (for the camps that are taught in English) can apply to the Koç University Winter Camp 2024 program.
Required Documents for Application
You will need to upload all the documents listed below into our application system in colored JPEG and/or PDF format to complete your application:
- Official transcript (Should include all courses taken at high school level and must be sealed and signed)
- For the camps that are taught in English; English Test Score(s).
The list of accepted test scores:
- TOEFL, TOEFL Junior
- IELTS
- PTE
- Cambridge tests: FCE, CAE, CPE
- PLEP Test
Important Note: English test scores must not be taken more than 2 years ago.
Student will be asked to write an Essay (Should be a short essay explaining why the student wants to join our program) when filling out the application form. (The essay may be written in Turkish or English) (500 to 1000 words.) The students are expected to write this essay by themselves.
* If the language of the camp chosen by the student is Turkish, student should be proficient in Turkish.
If none the test scores listed below are available, please follow the steps on below:
Applicants who do not have a valid English language test score may ask their English teacher (at the school) to give them a reference letter.
Reference letter should include information about the current English level of the applicant. It would be appreciated if the applicant’s English teacher provides information according to the CEFR scale (from A1 to C2) and additional details about the subgroups “Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking”.
Note to the Teacher: If you do not use CEFR scale, please refer the levels as “Elementary, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced, etc.” or you may provide an estimated TOEFL score.

Winter Camp 2024 (Online)
Please check the program terms and required documents by going to the program page before starting your application.
Applications made between the dates specified below will be evaluated:
November 17th 2023 – January 5th, 2024
Important Note: Course and/or program quota may be filled before the specified date range. All applications will be evaluated on a first come, first served basis.
Rules and Regulations
All students are responsible for the assignments, exams and evaluations for their courses during the camp period.
Please note that attendance to both elective and common courses is obligatory. Rules for attendance will be decided by the Faculty Members/Instructors.
Please click here for Koç University’s Student Code of Conduct and also Higher Education Council’s rules and regulations. All participants are expected to follow these rules.
Moreover, all students and their parents will be asked to sign “Winter Camps Code of Conduct” before the first day of the program, which consist all the rules students should follow from the first day to the last day of the program.
