There is no accommodation available for our daytime programs on our campus. However, our shuttle service is offered for an additional fee for parents who wish to use it.

Summer Medicine School 2024​ will take place face to face on campus.

In 2024, an exciting program that opens the doors of the medical world to high school students begins: Summer Medicine School.

The Summer Medicine program, with all its contents, will take place face-to-face on campus and at Koç University Hospital between July 1-12. This program aims to provide students with a comprehensive perspective on medical education by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge.

In the program, which will last for two weeks, training will continue two days a week at Koç University Hospital. While students have the chance to experience the practical part of medical education closely; They will have the opportunity to observe the realities of the medical profession.

During the remaining days of the program, students’ academic knowledge will be reinforced with theoretical lessons, workshops and social events to be held on campus, while also contributing to their personal development.

Program Date & Details

1-12 July 2024 (2 weeks)

  • Within the scope of the program, students will be given the opportunity to meet different fields of medicine.
    • All courses will be given in Turkish by Koç University faculty members and/or assistants.
    • Lessons are planned to be held four days a week.
    • While training takes place on the Koç University campus on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays; Training will be held at Koç University Hospital on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Course passing grades for the program will be given in 3 categories: “Passed”, “Passed Successfully” and “Passed with Excellence”. In addition, all students who complete the program with the expected attendance will receive a “Certificate of Participation”.
  • Apart from classes, throughout the program, students will attend the “Meeting Hour with Academics” with our faculty members from each faculty so that they can learn about the different departments in our school.
  • In “Seminar” activities outside of class, students will be able to closely observe the patient-doctor relationship in the sub-branches of medicine.
  • The program also offers extracurricular activities such as “Meetings from the Business World”, “CV Preparation and Using Linkedin” workshop, and “Self-Contact” workshop.
  • Face-to-face games and activities will be held throughout the program.
  • Students will have mentors who will support them in adapting to the program and whom they can consult on anything they need. Mentors are Koç University undergraduate students.
