3D Modeling and Printing

Basic 3D Printing for Design offers a hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies. In this
course, students will learn to draw objects using CAD software. They will also learn the basic
challenges and methods of 3D Printing and will have a chance to experience 3D printing the
objects they drew.
Learning Outcomes
Students successfully completing this course will be able to 3D print their self-designed objects.
They will be knowledgeable in;
– Creating objects in the 3D space,
– Using computer-aided design (CAD) software for drawing 3D objects,
– Using 3D printing slicers (software) and hardware.
