PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
Essential Feature of the Program Agreement
The scope of this Agreement between UNVEST and the Guardian, Trainee which the Guardian accepts and declares that he/she is the guardian to, by Turkish Civil Code, will join Participants who have completed the 9th, 10th, or 11th grades of secondary education can enter the Summer Medicine School Program in 2024 at the Koç University Rumelifeneri Campus (“Campus”) and Koç University Hospital between the dates of 01.07.2024 and 12.07.2024. Trainees will attend the models of Koç University’s undergraduate-level courses (with no prerequisites) and will improve his/her skills in teamwork, mindfulness, time management, planning, coordination, self-confidence, and critical and analytical thinking.
For the Program, Application Confirmation Form, Essay, Official transcript and one passport- sized photograph are requested by UNVEST. If the participant does not submit any of these documents, the Program will not be registered.
The Contract Program’s Cost and Payment
The Summer Medicine School Program which will last 2 weeks costs 30.000,00 TL (Turkish Liras) per person total price including all taxes.
The Right of Withdrawal
Guardian may exercise the right of withdrawal to UNVEST in writing within 14 (fourteen) days beginning with the day which the Agreement is established.
The contract is established with Guardian through these steps; clicking on the “Apply” button on the Summer Medicine School Program website, making the preliminary application by completing the form on the resulting page, the program team evaluating the application, sending a written notification on the acceptance, sending a payment link through the system and Guardian paying the fee. Guardian’s right of withdrawal period starts on the day of the payment.
The Exercise of Right of Withdrawal
Guardian may exercise the right of withdrawal to UNVEST in writing within 14 (fourteen) days beginning with the day which the Agreement is established. Guardian will direct the exercise of the right of withdrawal to UNVEST within writing. UNVEST is obliged to return all payments collected from the Guardian within fourteen days from the date of notification of notice of withdrawal. Reimbursement will be made according to the payment method used by Guardian, without bringing any charges and liabilities in Guardian, will be carried out at one time. UNVEST cannot be held responsible for commissions and -regardless of the name- any other deductions implemented by the Guardian’s relevant bank account.
Conditions in which Right of Withdrawal cannot be Exercised
After the Summer Medicine School Program 2024 program has started, the Guardian will not request any refund if they cancel their participation in the program for any reason other than force majeure or will not request any refund in case of early departure from the program.
Guardian cannot use the right of withdrawal, after the fourteenth day of right of withdrawal period.
In addition, if the Participant participated in the program with the consent of Guardian before the right of withdrawal period expires, Guardian will not be able to exercise the right of withdrawal.
Today, Covid-19 and its variants have ceased to be an unpredictable situation, especially in the education sector, and since the Participant will not be able to continue to receive services and a new face-to-face participant will not be able to replace the Participant. Therefore, no refund and/or reduction will be made. The Guardian accepts and undertakes this situation in advance.
In addition, if the Participant is infected with Covid, the Guardian will come and receive the Participant upon notification of the situation. The guardian accepts and undertakes this in advance.

7. Information/ Commitment on Performance and Solution Methods for Complaints
UNVEST is obliged to perform the service related to the Summer Medicine School program in accordance with the contract. Guardian may deliver all suggestions and complaints about the program to UNVEST via the phone number and e-mail address specified in Article 3. UNVEST aims to investigate the complaints and suggestions within the legal limits and aims to resolve the problem that is submitted by the Guardian. All rights of the parties arising from the Law and related regulations are reserved.

Within the framework of measures related to Corona Virus, UNVEST may cancel the Summer Medicine School program and the contract unilaterally on the condition that the collected fee will be returned to the Guardian.
